We need be discerning. God-sent people and opportunities draw you closer to Him and His plans. Distractions lead you away from your spiritual path and dulls your mission. When we get careless to what we say yes to, it can cost our voice, fire and future.
It started with God first asking, "Do you want it?" He asked if I wanted what He has for me. Only when I was ready to say ‘Yes’, the next question He asked , "Do you now see what I want you to have?" And then He asked me "Do you now believe I can give this to you?
To stop being a Lukewarm was the call. The Enemy wants us to be double-minded. It is not possible to follow Jesus fully when our feets are in two different grounds. Immediate obedience would save us from unnecessary detours in our life. Jesus spit out the lukewarm, so 'GIRL STOP PLAYING'
I too was someone diagnosed with severe clinical depression and anxiety. This isolated season, being alone with my thoughts, often led me to spiral back into unhealthy thought patterns, I had once tasted freedom from. Life, as we know it has changed. In this season of loss and tried, we need extra doses of hope, extra doses of joy, and extra doses of encouragement. Let’s lean in to the hope we have in Jesus
Our world is full of exhausted and overstressed adults, raising overscheduled children. Hyperproductivity is the norm and everyone’s chief end seems to be on “IPO”s or “exiting”. Hear me out, let go of exhaustion as a status symbol and productivity as your self-worth.
